PhD Student

Haojue Wang is a PhD student in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He completed his undergraduate studies at Queen Mary School, Nanchang University, and obtained his master’s degree from Cheeloo College of Medicine, Shandong University.
His research centres on neuroimmune interactions and their roles in mechanically induced bone regeneration, particularly during distraction osteogenesis. He investigates how mechanical stimulation influences communication between macrophages and sensory neurons, and how these interactions shape the regenerative microenvironment and regulate bone formation. His work aims to clarify how mechanical, immune, and neural signals coordinate bone regeneration and inform strategies to improve bone healing.
